SHO martyred in encounter with outlaws in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Two police officials including SHO Madina town were martyred in encounter with outlaws in the limits of Civil Lines police here Saturday night in Faisalabad.

Police spokesman, Inspector Amir Waheed told that a police party led by SHO Madina town Mehr Nadeem Anjum, on a tip-off, raided at hideout of outlaws in the limits of Civil lines police near General Bus Stand.

On seeing police, the outlaws opened fire at them. As a result, SHO Mehr Nadeem and Constable Shahzad sustained critical injuries.

The injured police officials were rushed to DHQ hospital where doctors pronounced them dead. The outlaws managed to escape from the scene.
