Reports said Faisal Raza, of Chak 108-JB, Talvandi, arrived in Faisalabad from Islamabad. He took a rickshaw to reach home in Bilal Nagar when two motorcyclists intercepted him near Chaki Chowk, Millat Road, and tried to snatch his belongings.
Robbers opened fire killing Raza on the spot when he put up resistance.
The killers escaped from the scene, the police said, adding the rickshaw driver was also grilled and so far it was found that the driver had no role in the crime.
