Faisalabad: Patients in misery due to paramedical staff’s protest

FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – Patients at three major government hospitals of the city including Allied Hospital, Civil Hospital and General Hospital were in a miserable condition on Wednesday as paramedical staff shut down the OPD in protest for their demands, reported Dunya News.

The staff members raised slogans for their demands. They demanded that the decision to privatise the hospitals must be taken back, contract system must be terminated and the daily wages employees be made permanent. They also demanded the implementation of the service structure agreed upon in 2011.

Paramedical staff also took out rallies in support of their demands and protested at District Council Chowk.
